AuthoredUp does not write anything. That is the point of it
AuthoredUp is the odd one out in this comparison, because it is not competing for the same job. It is an editor, a formatter and an analytics layer for LinkedIn. You still write every post.

Do you actually want the writing done?
That is the only question that matters between these two, and plenty of people answer no. If you enjoy writing, if the words come easily once you sit down, and if your problem is formatting and knowing what worked, AuthoredUp is a better purchase than Inklined at less than half the price.
Its editor handles bold, italic and emoji properly. It keeps drafts and snippets, gives you 300+ hooks and endings, and its analytics show total, median and average impressions and engagement.
Inklined exists for the other answer: the expertise is there, the hours are not, and a blank composer at 9pm on a Sunday is where the habit goes to die.
What neither of us should pretend
AuthoredUp will not turn your calls into anything, because it does not read them and does not claim to.
And Inklined will not make you a better writer by hand. If you want to develop the craft, a tool that drafts for you is working against that, and AuthoredUp plus your own effort is the better path.
Where they stop overlapping entirely is afterwards. AuthoredUp reports aggregate numbers: impressions, engagement, follower growth. It does not identify the individual people who engage. Inklined scores them against your own description of a buyer.
When AuthoredUp is the better buy
If you want to write your own posts, buy AuthoredUp. It is $19.95 for one profile, its editor is the best here, and nothing else on this page does formatting and hooks as well.
If you manage several profiles and want a shared editor rather than a generator, its business tier is $14.95 per profile with a minimum of three.
And if you have been burned by AI-sounding content, a tool that refuses to write anything is a rational response to that.
