Castmagic is built for a media library. We are not
Castmagic is the biggest product on this list and it is not really in the same category. It is a media operating system: feed it audio or video and it returns transcripts, show notes, clips, audiograms, carousels, newsletters and long-form articles, across 130+ tools.
If you have a podcast or a video archive, it is almost certainly a better tool than Inklined. If what you have is a calendar full of client calls, it is the wrong shape.

Who is each one built for?
Castmagic describes itself as being for content teams, agencies and marketers. That shows in the shape of it: spaces, seats, storage quotas measured in terabytes, and pricing that runs to $699 a month for studios and publishers.
Inklined is built for one person who is not a marketer and does not want to become one. A consultant with 20 client calls a month, not a media operation with a back catalogue.
That is a real difference in fit rather than a feature gap. A solo consultant buying Castmagic is buying a lot of machinery they will not use.
Which one writes better long-form?
Castmagic, comfortably. It is the only tool in this comparison that assembles long-form drafted across several recordings, and it publishes newsletter editions, blog articles, Substack and beehiiv formats as standard.
Inklined does 5 long-form pieces a month on Starter and 20 on Pro, from your calls and your fingerprint, publishable to WordPress. That is enough for a consultant publishing weekly. It is not a content operation.
Where Inklined goes further is afterwards. Castmagic has nothing about the people who engage with what you publish. Its audience features capture site and chat visitors, which is a different thing.
When Castmagic is the better buy
If you run a podcast, Castmagic and it is not close. Clipping, audiograms, show notes, RSS and 60+ languages are all things we do not do.
If you have a video library or an archive of recordings to mine, same answer. Its ingestion and format range are far wider than ours.
And if you are a content team rather than a person, its spaces, seats and approval structure are built for that. Ours are not.
The calls are already happening.
