MagicPost grades your audience. It just cannot write from your work

MagicPost is the only other product here that scores the people who engage with your posts against an ideal customer profile, and it does it well. If you have read that Inklined is alone in closing that loop, that is out of date.

The difference is upstream. MagicPost can tell you whether the people reading you are buyers. It cannot help you write from the work that would attract them.

How does each one score the people who engage?

MagicPost asks you to describe your ideal customer in plain language, then compares each engager against location, company, industry, company size, follower count and job title, along with the comment they left. It returns a grade of Excellent, Good, Medium or Low, and pushes qualified people to HubSpot, Pipedrive or lemlist.

Inklined works the same way in shape. You describe the buyer, engagers get scored against it with the reasoning attached, and the qualified ones can go to Apollo or lemlist.

On that job alone, there is not much in it. If scoring your engagers is the only thing you want, MagicPost starts at $29 and is a mature product with a deep agency feature set.

So what is the actual difference?

Where the post comes from. MagicPost’s published inputs are a topic, a URL or a file. You bring the idea. It writes it well, schedules it through the official LinkedIn API, and grades who turns up.

Inklined starts from the calls you already ran. The framework you talked a client through on Tuesday is a draft on Wednesday, without you having to remember it happened or decide it was interesting.

For a consultant or fractional executive, that upstream half is usually the part that breaks. Scoring an audience is not much use if the reason you have no audience is that you never got round to posting.

When MagicPost is the better buy

If you run LinkedIn for other people, MagicPost is built for it and we are not. Client seats, approval workflows, white-label reports and per-seat agency pricing are all there.

If you want a cheap, mature engagement-scoring layer and you are happy supplying the topics yourself, it starts at $29 and does that job properly.

They also publish a great deal about operating through the official LinkedIn API rather than a browser extension, and describe themselves as a LinkedIn-verified partner. That is their claim rather than something we have confirmed, but account safety is a reasonable thing to care about and they address it directly.
