The strategy session takes shape
The setup wizard started becoming a conversation: a live strategy panel, an editable growth strategy document at the end of it, and nine styles to pick three from in Compose.
From the beta. Inklined was in private beta this week, so these notes describe what changed for the people using it at the time, not what a new account gets today. For where things ended up, read the 1 September notes.
A conversation, not a form
This is the week the onboarding rebuild became recognisable. Rather than filling in fields, you talk, and a panel beside the conversation assembles your strategy as you go.
It streams the analysis live, so you watch it work rather than waiting at a spinner. You can speak instead of typing, edit your own earlier answers to rewind, save and come back, and click any section of the panel to jump straight to it.
- A People module, working out who you want to reach.
- A Topics module, built from evidence rather than assertion.
- An editable Growth Strategy document at the end.
- Whatever you agree gets written back into your fingerprint files.
Pick three of nine
Compose got its style picker: nine LinkedIn styles, of which you choose three, and it drafts a version in each so you can compare rather than accept.
It also learned to regenerate from feedback, to reopen the brief mid-draft, and to offer to split a topic that is carrying too much for one piece.
Today stops repeating itself
Comment and Connect actions now persist, so something you have already dealt with does not come back tomorrow.
