Writing together, and Friday reads your week back

A co-writing loop where you can take the pen at any point, the first Friday wrap-up with every claim traced to a source, and Gmail and Calendar as an optional input.

From the beta. Inklined was in private beta this week, so these notes describe what changed for the people using it at the time, not what a new account gets today. For where things ended up, read the 1 September notes.

Take the pen whenever you want

The old model was a conversation that produced a draft at the end. The new one keeps a draft on the page the whole way through, and lets you take it over, tweak it, hand it back, or publish, at any point.

Each state carries a fidelity readout, so you can see what your edits did to how closely the piece tracks your fingerprint rather than guessing.

Your week, back at you

On Fridays, Inklined assembles what your week was actually about, pulled from your calls, your saves and your posts. Every claim links back to the excerpt it came from, so you can check it rather than trust it.

From there it opens a conversation about the week and turns it into three story angles you could write.

Gmail and Calendar, if you want them

An optional read-only Google Workspace connection lets the Friday review include your meetings and threads. Read-only, off by default, and disconnectable at any time.

Long-form formats in Compose

Blog posts, weekly newsletters and WordPress publishing came back as a format toggle in Compose rather than separate surfaces of their own.
