Compose

Compose starts from what you know rather than a blank page.

It asks the questions a good ghostwriter would, then writes from your answers.

How does Inklined write a LinkedIn post that sounds like me?

Start from a half-formed thought, spoken or typed. Compose interviews you for the specifics, then writes 3 angles for a LinkedIn post, each scored for how closely it matches your voice.

How Compose turns a half-formed idea into a draft

  1. Compose starts from a half-formed idea, not a blank page.
  2. Say the thought out loud, or type it.
  3. Pick the format. For a LinkedIn post it writes 3 angles, each scored for how closely it matches your voice.
  4. It interviews you before it writes, the way a good ghostwriter would.
  5. Your brief, in your words.
  6. Its questions pull out the specifics that make a post yours: the example, the number, the view you would defend.
  7. Start a fresh idea any time. Your current draft is saved.

Where do I find my drafts and published posts in Inklined?

Both are in Compose. Drafts holds every draft, and Published holds everything that has gone out, each linked to the live post.

Find your drafts and everything you have published

  1. Every draft is kept. Open Drafts.
  2. Pick any one up where you left it.
  3. Published keeps everything that has gone out.
  4. Each one links to the live post.

Can Inklined write long-form articles as well as LinkedIn posts?

Yes. Switch the format to Article and the same interview becomes a full-length article in your voice, which you can publish to WordPress.

Write a long-form article in your voice

  1. The same interview can become a full-length article, drafted in your voice.
  2. Give it a title.
  3. Add a cover or drop images in where your cursor is.
  4. Publish straight to WordPress, or mark it as published if you posted it somewhere yourself.
